Coronation Street airs split for Ryan Connor and Daisy Midgeley
Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Ryan Connor has broken up with Daisy Midgeley in Coronation Street.
The couple have been in trouble for weeks, as Ryan has developed a suspicion that Daisy still his feelings for her former fiancé Daniel Osbourne.
These doubts have had a knock-on effect on Daniel in his relationship with Bethany Platt, sewing the seeds for disturbing scenes where Bethany's life will be at risk due to a botched cosmetic surgery procedure next week.
Friday's (September 20) episode saw Ryan trying to paper over the cracks in his relationship by explaining to Daisy that he'd like to spend more time with her.

When Ryan suggested they move in together, he was disheartened that Daisy wasn't keen on the idea. He confronted her over his fears that she still has feelings for Daniel.
"This is why you don't want to move in together, isn't it? Because you've still got feelings for him," Ryan accused. "You know, I think I've known from the start but I just think I thought if I ignored it [it would go away]."
"There is nothing to ignore," Daisy insisted. "I would never cheat on you."
Ryan wounded Daisy by asking if she'd made Daniel the same promise before she cheated on him. Later, he tried to make things right but admitted he feared she loved Daniel more than him.
"I know you care about me but it's not enough for me," he explained. "I can't be second choice, Daisy. When I see you two together, I can see it. It's clear."
Daisy was left in tears as Ryan explained he'd have to end things with her. Later, Daisy confided in stepmum Jenny that Ryan was correct — she did still have feelings for Daniel.
"I never stopped loving Daniel," she added.
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
