Coronation Street cast tease night shoots ahead of fire storyline
Coronation Street spoilers follow.
The cast of Coronation Street will be involved in night shoots for the soap's upcoming fire storyline.
A post on a Salford City Council Facebook group shared a warning for residents, informing those living in Salford Quays and Trafford Park about "loud explosions and fire effects" used as part of a dramatic film shoot for the soap.
"Coronation Street will be reconstructing a house fire on Coronation Street Film Set, Trafford Wharf Road, Trafford Park," the message read.

The cast will be filming the fire scenes between 4pm and 2.30am until November 21, while on November 19 an explosion will be recreated.
Meanwhile, some Corrie actors have been sharing how they're getting ready to film late at night in the cold temperatures.
Bethany Platt star Lucy Fallon shared an Instagram Stories where posing with her co-stars Julia Goulding and Paddy Bever, who portray Shona Platt and Max Turner. The trio could be seen keeping warm in between takes, with Fallon writing in the caption: "Night shoot slay."

Similarly, Abi Webster star Sally Carman-Duttine took to her Stories to post a snap of heat patches and body warmers on a table, captioning it "night shoots".
It seems both the Platts and the Websters will find themselves in danger in the forthcoming scenes, though more details about the fire plot are being kept under wraps.
Corrie is no stranger to devastating fires. In 2010, the ITV soap marked its 50th anniversary with a week-long storyline concerning a tram crash and the subsequent fires on the street, while in 2013 it was the beloved Rovers Return that was engulfed in flames.
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
