Coronation Street confirms full details of Kelly's exit episode

Coronation Street has confirmed details of Kelly Neelan's dramatic final scenes.

Kelly bows out from the ITV soap next week following Millie Gibson's decision to leave the role.

In Kelly's final storyline, she discovers that Gary Windass killed her father Rick and makes a dramatic plan for revenge.

Kelly makes a deal with the devil by offering Rick's ex-client Kieron £10,000 to kill Gary.

Kieron takes the money and kidnaps Gary, but soon double-crosses Kelly by making plans to murder her too.

As the drama comes to a head next week, Gary alerts Kelly's fiancé Aadi Alahan that she's in danger and they need to find her by tracking her phone.

Kieron takes Kelly to a disused mill and leads her onto the roof.

The villain shares his plan to kill Kelly and frame her for Gary's murder, making it look like a murder-suicide.

Fortunately, Gary and Aadi aren't far behind and they're shocked to see Kelly on the roof.

As Kieron prepares to push Kelly to her death, Gary suddenly appears and begs Kieron to kill him instead.

Millie Gibson, who plays Kelly, recently spoke to Digital Spy and other press about the high-stakes scenes.

She said: "I think Kelly is utterly at rock bottom. There's only so many times she can hit rock bottom before it finally gets to her – from being in prison, being kidnapped and then this. I think it's really got to her now.

"I think Kelly has just accepted her fate, really. She tried to do what she had to do and then tried to go back. I think in a way she has been a bit naive and underestimated the types of people her dad dealt with. It bites back at her.

"You'll see just how intense it is. This poor 17 year old girl, she's experienced so much in such a short amount of time. It's tense, dramatic scenes."
