Coronation Street drops huge clue fans missed on who killed Joel in old suspect's photo
Coronation Street dropped a big clue about who really killed Joel Deering in an old photo of the suspects.
Joel - played by Calum Lill - was confirmed to have been killed after he went missing when what he did to Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) came to light. Fans will remember Lauren was attacked by a man, later revealed to be Joel.
Whilst Lauren was thought to be dead, she survived the attack and went on the run. When she returned to vindicate Roy Cropper (David Neilson) for her disappearance and 'murder', it was revealed she was pregnant with Joel's baby.
Keen to keep his secret under wraps, he continued to offer her money and 'support' her in exchange for her silence. However, eventually things came to light and it was confirmed to everyone that Joel was behind Lauren's attack and near-death.

However, the tables have now turned, and Joel ended up dead. His body was found in a river and initially was thought to be suicide. He was found with major injuries to his head, confirmed he had been killed by someone - but who?
DC Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) is currently leading the investigation after DS Swain (Vicky Myers) was forced to step down, but he has quite a few suspects and seems no closer to working out who took justice into their own hands and killed Joel.
Suspects so far include the two women who had the most to do with Joel - Lauren Bolton and his ex-fiancé Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling Brown), but could either of them have killed Joel? Ronnie (Vinta Morgan) and Mason (Luca Toolan) are also in the frame as potential suspects, but did they do it?
Dee-Dee's father, Ed (Trevor Michael Georges), is also being quizzed. A flashback reveals that Ed and Ronnie drove off into the night with a crowbar, while a separate flashback shows Dee-Dee coming face to face with Joel on that fateful night - but did they kill him?
Now, Sharon Marshall, soap expert on This Morning, has seemingly hinted that it's actually someone else entirely. An old spoiler picture of four of them - Mason, Ed, Ronnie, and Dee-Dee - all standing in the police station has resurfaced, with Sharon hinting that it could be someone else altogether, given there's a spare seat in the photo. Could this be a clue it's someone we're least expecting?
