Coronation Street fans spot a familiar face in the final episode of Years and Years
Coronation Street fans were eagle-eyed during yesterday's (June 18) series finale of Years and Years, as they spotted a quick appearance from Tyler Jefferies actor Will Barnett.
Will's thuggish Weatherfield character seemed to transfer his criminal ways over to BBC One's political sci-fi series, selling a gun to Rory Kinnear's Stephen in one scene.
His official character name? Rough Lad.

My second biggest problem with the finale of #YearsAndYears: Mark Casey from the garage in the onslaught on the Red Zone and Tyler giving Rory Kinnear a gun. #Corrie pic.twitter.com/RtNugzQjh7

@_Will_Barnett It was great to see you on BBC One Years and Years last night. It's great that you are back on ITV @itvcorrie also.

Meanwhile, Years and Years creator Russell T Davies has confirmed the future of his latest show, admitting that it was always envisioned as "a one-off."
He added: "Even way back in production, it was never discussed in terms of a second series.
"Years and Years has reached its limit. It's just time to stop."
Back in Corrie, Tyler's reappearance on the cobbles is set to create problems for Robert Preston's engagement plans with Michelle Connor.
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
