Corrie's Peter Ash has received a huge response from fans after sharing a selfie he took on Friday.

Viewers of the ITV soap will know that Peter's character Paul Foreman was diagnosed with motor neurone disease (MND) last year. After being told by his neurologist that he has MND, Paul begged her to tell him how long he will live.

The neurologist said that while it can vary from person to person, most people live for less than three years after a diagnosis. And with his condition worsening, fans fear Paul does not have long left.
