In the lead up to this, Imran caught Abi Webster (Sally Carman) preparing to leave the country with their baby son Alfie. This turn of events followed Imran gaining custody after framing recovering addict Abi for buying drugs.
With his lies the driving force behind Abi’s desperate decision, Imran eventually promised her husband Kevin (Michael Le Vell) that he wouldn’t have her arrested.
He also thanked Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson) for keeping him honest, before leaving a voicemail for Toyah. Admitting he had something important to tell her, Imran pleaded with her to hold off reporting Abi to the police. At the station, Imran intercepted Toyah’s mission, and she took the car keys as they set off home.

Meanwhile, a missing Abi returned to see Kevin, who assured her that everything was going to be okay. But as the scene shifted to Toyah and Imran in the midst of a dangerous situation, that could be about to change.
As Corrie continues, Imran will regain consciousness in time to pull Toyah from the wreckage. With her injuries looking very serious as the ambulance arrives, though, will she make it? And did Imran confess to his part in Abi’s downfall before disaster struck?

News of the accident filters through just as Kevin is pledging his commitment to Abi; and the pair are stunned to hear about what’s happened to Imran and Toyah.
Shock turns to horror as the police begin to look into the cause of the crash. It seems the car didn’t brake at the crucial moment — so is Kevin’s earlier tampering to blame?
