Later in the week, Dr Gaddas reveals that she’s referring Sam to the local mental health services for talking therapy. But when the youngster locks himself in his bedroom, it’s left to Leanne to try and coax him round. Can she make a breakthrough?
Kelly is released
Kelly is out of prison and decides to move into a supported living accommodation, only to find that someone has spray-painted the word “murderer” on the wall.
It seems that life on the outside isn’t going to be that easy for Kelly, as Nina rejects her apology, despite Roy advising his niece to cut her some slack. And then, by the week’s end, Kelly is also being questioned by police officer Craig after Dev’s new car gets vandalised. But is she responsible for committing the crime?
Aadi snaps
Aadi has been barely containing his anger for weeks now but he’s now set to explode after his plans to move to London fall through. In scenes to be shown on Tuesday, Bernie tells the youngster that Dev can’t afford to bankroll the relocation because he spends all his money on Asha.
Returning home, Aadi then vents spleen at Dev and points out how he rescued Asha from the burning car but left him to die. He also lets rip at his sister, telling her that he feels he’s spent his whole life playing second fiddle. And despite Dev trying to reassure him that he loves both his children equally, Aadi storms off in a state.
Summer’s crush on Daniel
Summer is getting increasingly smitten with Daniel, but there’s a definite case of crossed wires on the horizon.
When she overhears Adam quizzing Daniel about his intentions towards Daisy, viewers will clock Summer getting the wrong end of the stick and assuming the conversation is about her. And it looks as though she’s in for a disappointment when she spots two tickets for The Importance of Being Earnest on Daniel’s desk – not realising, of course, that one of them is for the Rovers barmaid.
Who’s interested in Tyrone?
Tyrone is miffed when Hope isn’t invited to a kids’ party that Ruby is attending. And as he makes it clear to mum Penny that he’s not impressed with her attitude, fellow parent Isla (played by former Emmerdale star Gemma Oaten) can’t help but be impressed by the way he puts her in her place.
Their conversation then leads to Isla asking Ty for a date sometime – and when he agrees, Fiz finds herself left annoyed.
Relationship test for James and Danny
Danny has turned down a job offer in London and James suspects the decision he’s made is due to him.
On Monday, the footballer urges his boyfriend to follow his dream and seize the opportunity he’s been given. But what decision will Danny end up making?
