Coronation Street and Love Island stars join ITV’s Cooking with the Stars

ITV have announced the cast for the third series of Cooking with the Stars, with Coronation Street star Samia Longchambon and Love Island’s Indiyah Polack set to take part.

The cooking show, which is presented by Emma Willis and Tom Allen, will be returning later this year, with the cast for the upcoming series consisting of eight celebrities.

The cast for the series also includes actor Jason Watkins, Gavin & Stacey's Joanna Page and former professional boxer Chris Eubank.

The rest of the cast is made up of singers and musicians, with Peter Andre, Busted’s Matt Willis and Steps’ Claire Richards set to feel the heat.

The series sees the celebrities paired with a professional chef, who will act as their Chief Mentor during their time in the kitchen. The episodes will consist of an intense Cooking Battle, in which the loser will fight for their place in the competition by in the Cook-Off.

“Filming Cooking with the Stars is always a highlight for me as not only do Tom and I have lots of fun, but we also get to try some phenomenal food,” said co-host Willis of the announcement.

“We have a great cast this season, who will no doubt be feeling the pressure as they head into the kitchen. We've seen blood, sweat and tears on previous series, and I'm sure this series will be no exception.

“A whole lot of great food, celebs reaching boiling point plus Emma Willis and me holding court – sounds like my dream party,” added Allen. “I am so excited to be bringing back to your screens the glitziest competitive cooking show in the world.”

The previous two series of the show were won by McFly drummer Harry Judd and This Morning presenter Dr Ranj Singh respectively.

Cooking with the Stars series 3 will air on ITV later this year.
