Next week on 'Coronation Street': Drunk Nina to kill Corey? Plus Leanne returns home and Tyrone has a makeover (spoilers)
A drunk Nina lashes out, Leanne is back on the street, plus Alina masterminds an image makeover for Tyrone – it’s all you need to know about the week ahead on Coronation Street for 14–18 June 2021.
Can anyone save Nina?
It’s fast becoming apparent that Nina is a problem that Roy cannot fix. In a bid to stop her from drinking, he encourages her to work on her graphic novel. But she just tears the pages out, declaring it to be rubbish, just like her life.
Later on, Nina is knocking back the wine in the Bistro and flirting with a friend of Daisy’s called Noah. But, recognising how overwrought Nina is, Noah advises Daisy to take her home. However, just as Daisy is about to hand her over to Roy, Nina jumps into a taxi and speeds away.

Eventually, Nina ends up in a hotel bar, where footballer Tommy Orpington is sharing a table with Corey. And as Tommy shows off Corey’s Best New Talent award, Nina announces how the teenager kicked her boyfriend to death.
As the two guys get up to leave, Nina picks up the trophy and pursues them. Perhaps Corey ought to once again be watching his back…
Leanne brings her loved ones back home
Nick, Leanne and Simon return from their self-imposed exile, from where they regularly risked their cover being blown by turning up at Weatherfield General every five minutes and going for the odd haircut.
Now, DS Glynn is underlying to Leanne how important it is for her to give evidence against Harvey to prevent him from ruining any more lives. But will Leanne agree? Meanwhile, in prison, Harvey is warned by the police that his intimidation tactics won’t work and that witnesses can’t be swayed. But is this really the case?
Tyrone’s makeover has Fiz in stitches
The next stage of Tyrone’s mid-life crisis sees Alina heading to the shops to buy him some new clothes. But Evelyn is left gobsmacked when she calls round to pick up the girls and clocks an embarrassed Tyrone’s new look.
The next day, there’s a cocktail evening at the Bistro and Fiz’s heart sinks when Alina arrives dressed to the nines. But you can expect Fiz to have the last laugh when Ty also arrives debuting his skinny jeans.
Gemma and Chesney’s big decision
News from the doctor that little Aled is an ideal candidate for a cochlear implant gets a mixed reaction from his parents. Chesney is thrilled but Gemma doesn’t want her son to have the operation as there are too many risks.
A shocked Ches asks Freda to come round to No 5 to talk through the pros and cons. But Gemma remains adamant and Chesney is left despairing, pointing out that Aled is his son too.
Dev-astation for Bernie
There’s humiliation coming Dev’s way – and rightfully so, seeing as he was making jokes at Bernie’s expense last week to Steve. Mary, who overheard the jibes, tells Bernie what was said. And pretty soon, Dev is finding himself the victim of Bernie’s revenge plot.
Mary then tears a strip off Dev for making a fool out of someone he supposedly cared for. But when Dev then presents Bernie with some flowers in the hope that they can still be friends, what reaction will he receive?
