It's the moment of truth for Toyah Battersby on Coronation Street next week as she finds out whether her IVF treatment was successful.

Viewers know that Toyah (Georgia Taylor) recently went behind her partner Peter Barlow's back and had embryos implanted in secret – despite his request to put their baby plans on hold for the time being.

Peter had asked Toyah if they could delay the IVF process until all the business with Chloe was over – having been arrested for attacking her the night before Ken was pushed down the stairs.

Although Toyah played along with Peter's suggestion, she later told her sister Leanne that she had ignored his pleas and gone ahead with it anyway.

And as Peter remains in the dark over Toyah's deceit, next week's episodes will reveal whether her IVF has been successful .

A nervous Toyah will buy a pregnancy testing kit before heading into the bathroom – intent on discovering if she's expecting or not.

Once she's taken the test, Toyah will confide in Eva about going behind Peter's back. But does this mean the treatment has been a success? And how will Peter react if Toyah is pregnant?

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV.
