Nina’s flashback reveals who killed Seb
Recent paparazzi pictures revealed that actor Harry Visinoni was filming new Corrie scenes and we now discover why, as a specially filmed flashback reveals what happened on the day Seb was fatally attacked.
What we’ll see is a piece of music transporting Nina back to that fateful time as fragments of her memory start resurfacing. Deciding to retrace her steps, Nina takes Abi, Summer, Asha and Aadi to the wasteland where she and Seb encountered Corey and Kelly.

Big courtroom drama
Meanwhile, the stage is set for the trial itself when Corey, sitting alone in his cell, thinks back to the aftermath of the attack when he stashed his blood-stained tracksuit in his rucksack before chucking it into the local river.
The big question now: will he get away with his crime? Nina hopes not and tells the court that Corey kicked Seb repeatedly while Kelly begged him to stop. Asha, too, paints Corey in a bad light when she reveals how he bullied and coerced her into lying to the police.
But there’s zero chance of Corey showing any contrition – in fact, he doesn’t think twice about telling the court that Kelly committed the crime, adding that her dad is a gangster and threats were made about having him killed if he reported her to the police.

Abi, meanwhile, starts to lose hope after footballer Tommy Orpington gives Corey a glowing character reference. And, by Friday, verbal attacks are being made on Corey’s dad Stefan, who stands accused of bribing key witnesses. But can Abi find any proof of his corruption?
Hope opens up
Away from the trial, we get Hope attending her first therapy session where she reveals to the psychiatrist that she started the fire at the flat because she felt sad following Tyrone’s departure and that people are always leaving her.
Realising that Hope has spent her life feeling abandoned, Fiz and Tyrone can’t help but be crushed by the youngster’s misery.
Curtis collapses
The Fault in Our Stars-style storyline that Curtis has been given continues when he collapses behind the bar at the Bistro and an ambulance is called.
After being told at the hospital that more tests are needed, Curtis can’t help but feel that it’s all a waste of time. But later on, back at the flat, Emma has a shock announcement for her boyfriend.
Eileen remains ignorant of Phelan’s ‘return’
George and Todd are tussling over Phelan’s ashes, the result of which sees the remains of the serial killer go flying.
The trouble is that Eileen arrives on the scene just in time to witness the mess – hence Todd making out that what’s been spilt are the remains of Patsy Freeman, a little old lady with no living relatives. But the local undertakers are left masking their guilt when Eileen reveals that she’d now like to give Patsy a proper send-off!
