Is this the end for Alya and Tyrone?
Tyrone can’t fight his feelings for Fiz, especially when she heads off on another date with Phill. Following the two of them to the Bistro, Ty waits for Phill to go to loo before blurting out to Fiz that he misses both her and the girls.
But what of Alina in all of this? Well, she’s set to learn by Wednesday that Tyrone wants a reconciliation with Fiz. And, lashing out, she dumps the picture of her and Tyrone at the garage with the word “liar” scrawled across his forehead.

Her plan is to then fly off to Romania and, despite Tyrone urging her to reconsider, she tells them that it’s definitely over between them. But the big question now is: does Fiz want to reunite with Tyrone? Or does she foresee a future with Phill instead?
Norris dies
Ken and Rita are intrigued when Norris gets in touch requesting a meet-up as he has some important news to divulge.
However, they’re later shocked to hear from Freda that Corrie’s beloved busybody has collapsed and been taken to hospital with a suspected stroke. After rushing over, Ken, Rita and Mary then learn that Norris has just passed away. Cue a big argument over his funeral arrangements, as well as a comeback for Audrey’s rival in hair care, Claudia Colby.
Zeedan returns to help Alya
The Nazirs are facing financial difficulties after Alya receives a call from a fraudster and naively allows them to clear out their bank account.
In a panic, she then leaves a voicemail for her brother Zeedan explaining how she’s been scammed out of thousands and now doesn’t know what to do. By Friday, Zeedan will be back on the Street for the first time since 2018, with his reappearance prompting Alya to explain her mistake to Yasmeen. But luckily, the Weatherfield returnee has an offer to make: £50,000 to tide his loved ones over.
Max is rebelling
Daniel heads off on his teaching placement, only to find opposition in class from Max (now played by Paddy Bever), who starts playing up.
After hearing about what’s happened, David tears a strip off Max, but he says he couldn’t care less, even when Daniel hands him a detention later in the week for failing to hand in his homework.
David then suggests that Max could do with some extra tutoring, but Daniel – having had his fill of him in the classroom – makes his excuses.
Craig sets the record straight
When James is told from his doctor that he’s still not ready to return to football, he decides he’s going to chase up the police inquiry.
An uneasy Craig then tells James that he wants to be reinterviewed about the matter and, being a decent guy, does end up telling his superiors that James was not driving erratically and nor were the brothers behaving aggressively.
It’s Craig’s wish that his statement will help with the investigation, but James points out that what he needed to have done was tell the truth in the first place.
