Coronation Street spells danger for Lisa Swain after fans work out 'evil scheme'
Coronation Street copper DS Lisa Swain (played by Vicky Myers) was recently left hiding injuries after she claimed to be attacked the night Joel Deering was killed.
In a recent scene, her daughter Betsy (Sydney Martin) walked into the bathroom and caught a peek at her mum's bruises, but Lisa said they come from a body combat class.
The Detective Sergeant had been working to solve the murder case of abuser Joel (Callum Lil) before she was suspended from the force for writing out a threatening message to Joel shortly before his death.
But on Monday (November 11), Swain was arrested by Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) after a can of CS spray was found beside the weapon thought to have killed Joe.

Swain explained that she had intervened in an assault on the street and was struck by a car causing her injuries. Swain then explained she had visited the hospital with cracked ribs but Kit continued to pile on the questions, and later kept her in overnight meaning Betsy would be in danger.
Coronation Street fans have been trying to work out who killed Joel, with some viewers suggesting Swain isn't the murderer but Kit is responsible for her bruises leaving her in danger.
After getting Swain suspended and arrested, some viewers think Kit has a secret vendetta against Swain and she could be in danger. Taking to X, one viewer said: "I still think Kit had something to do with setting up Lisa."
A second stated: "Lisa’s' why are you doing this' and Kits 'it’s nothing personal'," actually does feel like a personal attack though #corrie."
A third exclaimed: "Oh Kit this is definitely personal, you want to see Lisa rot well she won't let it happen. #Corrie."
"I'm catching up on yesterdays #Corrie, and obviously, Kit didn't kill Joel, so why was he being such an a** to Lisa and Dee Dee?! Cos it's not like he was covering himself, although he did do something that night clearly..." added another.
Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7:30pm on ITV and ITVX
