Adam’s shock fall
Adam has a clandestine meeting with Lydia in a shopping centre coffee shop and attempts to record what he hopes will be a confession on his phone. But Lydia sees through his ruse, snatches the mobile and presses delete.
As the two wrestle over the phone, Lydia vents her anger at Adam for his treatment of her all those years ago. Daniel, meanwhile, is attempting to track Adam down and finds him just in time to witness him being slapped across the face and given an almighty shove over some balcony railings in the shopping centre.

Adam then topples over backwards and ends up being rushed to hospital, where doctors find a bleed behind the eye that could result in him losing his sight. But will Adam point the finger of blame at Lydia? And will Sarah be by his bedside following the op?
Gary gets desperate
Maria’s political campaign has met with a degree of success, with County now having to move their training ground. The bad news for Gary is that they’re relocating to the exact spot where Rick’s body is currently buried. What are the chances, eh?
A nervy Gary then makes an attempt to move the corpse and tries breaking into the building site, only to be cleared off by a security guard.
Meanwhile, the PI working for Laura reveals to her that he’s had no luck in tracking down Rick, who he thinks must have been bumped off by Gary. Cue Laura confronting an already worried Mr Windass in scenes to be shown on Friday. Will he confess to murdering the nasty loan shark?
Steve meddles in Amy’s life
Amy takes Ken through the budget she’s drawn up and asks if he’ll release the money from Deirdre’s trust fund to pay for her degree. But just as Ken is about to transfer over the cash, Steve implores him to reconsider. So will Ken change his mind?
Later on, we’ll also see Steve discovering that Dev has given Amy a job at the kebab shop. So, naturally, he tries to scupper that too and points out that Amy is actually living with Jacob, who sold drugs out of the chippy.
Faye’s pregnancy shock
When Beth suggests that Craig is downbeat because he didn’t want to leave the police force, Faye masks her guilt. And it seems that Beth is on the money as, later on, Craig admits to Emma that a part of him resents Faye for ruining his career.
With tensions simmering, Faye then starts to fear that she’s pregnant and confides in Elaine that the timing couldn’t worse as she and Craig are at loggerheads. But will her test come back positive?
Sally returns
Sally is back from Newcastle and randy Tim can’t wait to get her up to the bedroom. But Sally points out a problem: the six-week sex ban isn’t yet up so they’ll have to wait.
Tim, though, suggests that they flout the rules and have sex a day early. But their scheme is stymied when Elaine returns home to put the kibosh on things.
