Coronation Street spoilers: Amy is pushed to the edge, someone knows Stephen’s secret
It’s a traumatic week on Coronation Street as Amy’s booze bender results in her being taken to hospital.
Plus Stephen is targeted by somebody who’s aware of his guilt, Paul learns that he has motor neurone disease, while Hope gets an attack of the green-eyed monster.

Amy is rushed to hospital
After witnessing Aaron flirting at a party, Amy finds that traumatic memories are triggered and she admits to Summer and Aadi that he raped her while drunk.

Deciding to swipe a bottle of vodka from the sideboard, Amy heads to Victoria Garden, where she’s later found unconscious by Summer. At A&E, doctors confirm that Amy passed out due to excessive alcohol, while Summer explains to Steve and Tracy how Amy revealed to her that Aaron did rape her.
But when Aaron later appears at Amy’s bedside, how will she react?
Who knows the truth about Stephen?
Stephen is showing off his new car when he take receipt of a hand-delivered letter. And inside is a one-line message that reads, “I know what you did to Rufus”.
Later on at the Rovers, Stephen finds himself struggling to celebrate with the factory workers who are drinking to the second Nippersnapper order. And as he heads back to Underworld, he’s approached by the two lads from who he bought LSD. They then reveal the letter was sent by them and that they now want £10,000 or the police will be told of Stephen’s crime. How will the man himself react?
Paul gets his MND diagnosis
Paul is feeling guilty as he’s aware that he’ll never be able to pay Billy back for having paid off his loan.
Later, after learning of Rufus’s death thanks to an article in the Gazette, Damon orders Paul to dispose of the late man’s car. But while in the vehicle, Paul’s left hand lets him down and he ends up swerving across the road – just as officers in a police car notice his actions.
In the aftermath of all this, Dee-Dee tries to reassure Paul about the police’s investigation before accompanying him to his appointment with the MND specialist. It’s here that Paul learns that he does indeed have motor neurone disease, a discovery that results in Dee-Dee advising him to tell Billy and his family the news.
Damon gets under Sarah’s skin
When Sarah suggests a lunch date without the lunch, Adam can’t help but be delighted.
Damon, though, discovers that Dee-Dee has taken over his licence application and guesses correctly that Sarah is preventing him from spending any time with Adam. But will she manage to assuage her own sense of guilt for much longer?
Jackson v Craig
Craig is armed with a stack of bridal magazines and wants to talk to Faye about possible dates, but she says she wants to take things slowly.
Jackson, meanwhile, has been told by Faye that her feelings for him have changed in the light of recent events. So, he decides to head to the Rovers where he gets drunk and ends up picking a fight with Craig.
Hope gets jealous
Sam invites Eliza over for tea at No 9 – a move that instantly riles Hope who shoots daggers at the girl she obviously considers to be her competition.
At No 9, Hope will then be seen performing karaoke numbers, while Fiz, Tyrone, Sam and Eliza dutifully applaud. But when Sam then offers to teach Eliza to play chess, Hope’s fury begins to build…
