Coronation Street spoilers: Bethany Platt is arrested for glassing customer after rape flashback

Bethany Platt is set to land herself in trouble after attacking a customer with a broken bottle in a lap-dancing bar in an upcoming episode of Coronation Street.

After getting sacked from her previous job at Tassels, Platt (Lucy Fallon) gets work at another club, where the manager insists on her wearing a revealing outfit that makes her feel uncomfortable.

She then struggles to deal with a rowdy stag do who arrive at the bar and attempt to grab and touch her.

Still suffering from the after effects of her ordeal at the hands of Nathan Curtis and the grooming ring, she lashes out at one of the men with a glass bottle.

Platt will then be arrested and questioned at the police station, later explaining to mum Sarah that she suffered a frightening flashback causing her to believe the groom was her ex-fiancé Curtis.

Sarah encourages her to return to counselling in the hope it might help her move past her struggles.

Meanwhile, Platt’s boyfriend Craig Tinker blames himself for the events after finding himself unable to support her due to his own battle with OCD.

Viewers will have to tune in to find out if Platt manages to escape a spell in prison for the attack.
