Coronation Street spoilers: Fiz betrayed in new crisis, Summer’s sickness drama

Who has sold out Fiz?

The latest edition of the Gazette is out and it features the first extract of the book about John Stape.

When Fiz reads what’s been written, her heart sinks and she quickly hides the newspaper from Hope. She then suggests to Tyrone that they get in touch with the journalist who worked on the book and set up a meeting with him. But might the person who did the dirty on them be closer to home?

Tyrone punches Nick

In order to halt the publication of more damaging articles, Tyrone and Fiz seek the help of Adam, who tells them it might not be possible to stop the publication of the book itself.

But events take an unforeseen turn when Hope runs away from school, having been upset by some of the nasty things her classmates were saying. Nick then makes an already tense situation even worse when he asks that Hope be kept away from Sam!

With Fiz upset by Nick’s words, Tyrone takes action by punching Nick. But Fiz fears that Ty’s behaviour may well have cost Hope her friendship with Sam. The week ends with Hope confiding in Fiz that Sam isn’t quite the golden boy he makes himself out to be – cue the truth coming out about him still writing letters to Harvey in prison.

Todd discovers a secret

Sean, Laurence and Dylan are readying themselves for a night out in Monday’s episode. But when Todd is asked to take a photo of the trio on Laurence’s phone, an image pops up that leaves him shocked.

By Wednesday, Laurence will be seen catching Sean trying to crack the code on his phone. He snatches his mobile back and storms out, leaving Sean ashamed and red-faced in the process.

Will Summer reveal all to Billy?

Aaron’s dad needs to go to rehab but the £10,000 fee makes it impossible. Summer’s solution is to let Mike and Esther adopt her baby – but on the condition that they provide financial support, beginning with £10,000 up front.

Summer then meets up with Aaron and drops the bombshell that she’s still pregnant. And what’s more, she now has enough cash to fund a stay in rehab for Aaron’s dad.

But what Summer hasn’t reckoned on is severe morning sickness that results in her throwing up in the kitchen sink at home. She secretly seeks advice from Dr Gaddas on what she can do about the situation. But Billy – who is currently unaware of Summer’s pregnancy – is convinced that her eating disorder has returned with a vengeance.

When Summer returns home later to find Billy, Todd and Paul all waiting for her, will she end up telling them all the truth about why she’s been suffering with health problems?
