Afterwards, Aadi presents a clearly smitten Kelly with his Mum’s engagement ring. But when Asha notices, Aadi assures his sister that he and Kelly are only pretending to be engaged.
Having overheard everything, Kelly then chucks the ring at Aadi and jumps into the car that he’s just been given by Dev for passing his driving test.
As Kelly speeds away, Aadi borrows Asha’s old princess bike and sets off in pursuit down the ginnel – only to then find the car crashed into a bollard. Will Kelly be OK?
Yasmeen helps Stu
As Stu heads out of prison, he finds Yasmeen there to meet him at the gates. Having listened to what he has to say, she now believes that he’s innocent. But when Stu returns to the Street, he gets a negative reaction from Dev and Bernie when it’s discovered that he’s moving back in to No 6.
By Friday, Tim and Elaine have also voiced their concerns and will be seen begging Yasmeen to think twice about helping Stu. It’s enough to make Stu pack his bags, but Yasmeen points out that running away will only make him look guilty.
Summer is telling lies
Summer attends her appointment with the diabetic nurse, who suggests that a flash monitor would be useful when it comes to keeping track of her blood-sugar levels.
Aaron is quick to agree, but when Summer returns home, she lies to Billy and claims that she doesn’t qualify for one. But a frustrated Aaron later urges Billy to contact the hospital himself.
Stephen manipulates Sarah
Stephen tells Sarah that she’s the brains behind the factory business and ought to think about buying Carla out of her share.
After sharing her ideas, Sarah asks her uncle to help her prove to Carla that she knows what she’s talking about. But could Stephen be wanting to further his own career? It certainly looks that way, what with Sarah later pressuring Carla to hire Stephen as a consultant. But why is Stephen also urging Sarah to take out a loan and expand the business herself?
Bernie is accused of theft
Bernie is facing financial hardship, but gets help from two sources. First, she receives reassurance from Gemma that Linda has transferred money to pay for Joseph’s school uniform. Then Dev puts a smile on Bernie’s face when he offers her a cleaning job.
But everything turns sour on Friday when Bernie returns from her shopping spree with Joseph’s new uniform and a posh blazer for herself, freely admitting that this second garment was given to her in error. The trouble is, a woman then calls at No 5 accusing Bernie of theft. So how will she get herself out of this one?
Will Dylan stay in town?

Wanting to cheer Dylan up, we’ll see Glenda and Mary organise for James to have a kickabout with him. And Dylan is left admitting that he doesn’t want to go home, but would rather remain in Weatherfield.
