Coronation Street star Alan Halsall has left fans stunned after showing off his dramatic weight loss on Instagram. The 35-year-old actor, who’s played Corrie staple Tyrone Dobbs since 1998, has undergone a major body transformation since splitting with wife and Corrie alum actress Lucy-Jo Hudson in May.

Celebrating at a friend’s wedding, he is noticeably slimmer in his latest Instagram post – and fans have certainly noticed. With over 80 comments and counting, one fan commented “You look fantastic!,” another wrote “Serious transformation” and a third, “I mean. When did he get so good looking! Them arms man!”

Tyrone and Lucy-Jo confirmed their shock split in May, with Lucy-Jo releasing the following statement:

“I can confirm that Al and I are in the process of divorcing. We remain friends and devoted Mummy and Daddy to our daughter Sienna. We would appreciate privacy so that we can focus on Sienna’s continued happiness.”

The two met on the set of Corrie in 2002 and wed in 2009. They are parents to four-year-old daughter Sienna-Rae.

However, this is not the first time the couple have split. The pair announced they had separated back in April 2016, only to reconcile later that year.

Alan hasn’t publicly commented on his weight loss so far, but many of his Instagram posts show him embracing a healthy lifestyle. Posts from this year show Alan playing football at a charity match, working out in the gym and playing golf.
