Yahoo News Coronation Street star Dean Fagan announces engagement
Congratulations are in order for yet another Coronation Street star as Dean Fagan (Luke Britton) has announced his engagement.
Dean popped the question to now-fiancée Louise Pridding, who is an actress, while on holiday in Spain, sharing an adorable Instagram post to mark the occasion.
"After making her wait 9 nearly 10 years!!!" he captioned a picture of the pair embracing. "I finally led her down a dark path and asked her to marry me.

"Can't believe she said yes! But glad she did. My best friend and now fiance. My pea."
Louise also posted her own message on her Instagram, writing: "Do I even need to say it... I said yes! After leading me down a dark path in southern Spain, Dean asked me to marry him Ahhh love! I'm absolutely over the moon, my best friend now my fiancé!"
