From Digital Spy

Coronation Street's Helen Flanagan has opened up about her break as Rosie Webster, sharing that she misses "everything" about being on the show.

The star appeared on ITV's Lorraine this morning (January 7) when presenter Lorraine Kelly asked about whether fans can expect to see Rosie make a return to Weatherfield at some point in the future.

Helen, who is currently pregnant with her third child, responded that she "really, really" wants to reprise her character but only "when the time is right".

"I miss Corrie so much, I really do," she said. "I miss everything about it. I miss the excitement of filming. I miss Brooke [Vincent]. I miss Sally [Dynevor]. I really do.

"Obviously I grew up on the Street as well, so I miss everything about it.

"And I really, really want to go back but when the time is right obviously, because I feel you know what's it like after you've had a baby. You just want to – if you can, if you're lucky enough to stay at home – you want to kind of have that bonding time with them."

Helen also said in the interview that her third child will likely be her last.

Rosie left Weatherfield in 2018 after she was offered a job in Japan working on a TV game show. The offer came after she appeared on This Morning.

Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
