Coronation Street star hints at change for Liam and Mason
Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street star Charlie Wrenshall has hinted that things may change between Liam Connor and Mason Radcliffe.
Liam was mercilessly bullied by Mason earlier this year, but Mason has been embarking on something of a redemption arc more recently. It's also been revealed that Mason himself has been physically abused by his older siblings.

When speaking to Inside Soap magazine, Wrenshall – who plays Liam – was asked about what could be next for Liam and Mason.
"As we're seeing on the show now, with Mason, people are starting to bad for him," he responded. "So maybe they have a similarity in that. You never know, they could become friends."
But while Mason's layers of nastiness are being peeled away bit by bit, Wrenshall revealed that he actually wants Liam to go in the opposite direction.
"What I want to see Liam do is completely switch and go on a rampage, and just do whatever he wants – just like Gary [Windass]," he said.

"Maybe he could use this experience to spark something in him, to the point where no-one wants to mess with him!"
Mason will have more to deal with this week, as he becomes the first suspect in Kit Green's investigation of Joel Deering's death, and the detective's "eyes light up" when he hears about the potentially incriminating crowbar Mason has on him...
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX. As of today and from here on out, episodes drop on the streaming service at 7am ahead of broadcast, and it's the same with Emmerdale.
