Kym Marsh has shared a romantic photo with her fellow cast member, expressing that she's found the "most amazing man ever".

The ex-Coronation Street star took to Instagram to post an image where she is seen in a loving embrace with Samuel Thomas, her co-star in 101 Dalmatians - The Musical, and referred to him as the "most amazing man".

In her heartfelt caption, the 48 year old gushed: "Met the most amazing man ever! Sometimes the most unexpected things happen at the most unexpected times. @samuelthomasuk I love you #beautiful #soulmate #loveyou".

Kym and Samuel, who is 29 years old, are currently performing together in the UK and Ireland tour of the popular musical 101 Dalmatians, with Kym portraying the iconic Cruella de Vil and Samuel playing the character Tom Dearly.

Standing tall at 6ft, Samuel has a history of stage performances, including a stint in The Normal Heart at The National Theatre. His portrayal in Allegro at Southwark Playhouse earned him the Best Actor in a Musical accolade at The Stage Debut Awards in 2017, reports the Mirror.

On his own Instagram, Samuel shared his feelings for Kym with a black and white snapshot of the two touching foreheads, captioning it: "I didn't expect you, but here you are. I love you," accompanied by a red heart emoji. Kym reciprocated the affection, commenting: "Ditto. The best things happen unexpectedly. Love you too."

The unexpected romance develops in the wake of Kym's famous break up from her Army Major husband Scott Ratcliffe after a whirlwind two-year-long matrimony. The pair initially walked down the aisle in a romantic ceremony with 150 guests in October 2021.

Alas, despite a promising start, they separated in May 2023, a mere 19 months post their 'I do. ' Speaking about the split to The Guardian, the soap star replied: "It's just experience."

Adding: "I think I am a risk-taker because 'What if? ' is always worse." She elaborated: "Comfortable is not good. I always want to be that person who has a go, because I wouldn't want to sit there years down the line and say: 'I wonder what would have happened if ...? '".

Before exchanging vows with Scott, Kym attracted the limelight for her relationships with well-known figures including Jack Ryder, former EastEnder. Their paths crossed in a BBC canteen!

In 2001, the singer reportedly fell for the actor playing Jamie Mitchell after sharing a Top of the Pops staff canteen. This encounter evidently left an impact as they started dating before proceeding to marry at St Albans parish church, Hertford, in August 2002. However, they decided to call time on their union in 2008 after six years together. The divorce was officially concluded in 2009.

Kym Marsh's love life has been as eventful as her soap opera storylines, with the star experiencing both joy and tragedy. After her divorce in 2009, Kym found love again with Hollyoaks actor Jamie Lomas, but their happiness was marred by the loss of their son Archie, who tragically passed away minutes after birth due to a premature labour at 21 weeks.

Despite this devastating loss, the couple's strength saw them through, and they were blessed with a daughter, Polly, in March 2011. Kym and Jamie tied the knot in September 2012, but their marriage ended in divorce two years later.

In another twist worthy of the soaps, Kym had a brief romance with Coronation Street co-star Oliver Mellor in 2013. Post-split, Mellor shared with the Mirror: "We planned a future together. We loved each other and we weren't afraid to say it."

He added, "It wasn't something we intended to happen, but we couldn't stop our feelings."

Mellor has since married lingerie model Rhian Sugden. Before her high-profile relationships, Kym's first love was Dave Cunliffe, father to her children David and Emily. The pair met in a karaoke pub back in 1994, marking the beginning of Kym's journey through love, heartache, and motherhood.

The couple, who were engaged and had planned to marry, decided to call it quits in 1999, a year after their daughter Emily was born.
