Coronation Street's Alan Halsall arrives in Australia ahead of ITV's I'm A Celebrity 2024 launch
Coronation Street star Alan Halsall has arrived in Australia ahead of the launch of ITV's 2024 season of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! Alan, who plays mechanic Tyrone Dobbs on the long-running ITV soap, smiled as he arrived at Brisbane Airport today.
Sporting a black t-shirt and cap, as well as a Remembrance Day poppy, Alan looked cheery despite recently disembarking a long-haul flight. I'm A Celebrity 2024 starts in just over one week and the first stars heading into camp have now been confirmed after being spotted arriving at the airport in Australia
Earlier today McFly star Danny Jones was spotted at Brisbane Airport where he was pictured alongside Sam Thompson and Joel Dommett. Radio presenter Sam and TV presenter Joel have been confirmed to host the spin-off show this year - I'm A Celebrity... Unpacked. And all three of the celebs looked to be in good spirits upon arriving in Australia, as they were pictured smiling and high-fiving after their long-haul flight.

Danny cut a casual figure at the airport's arrivals area in a pair of tracksuit bottoms and an Oasis t-shirt, which he paired with a set of sunglasses and white trainers. The 38-year-old boyband star will spend up to three weeks in camp starting next weekend. The full line up will be made official by ITV in the next few days.
Last year, former Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson was crowned King of the Jungle much to the delight of fans at home. Comic Joel, 39, was runner-up on the ITV show in 2016 and will be joined by reigning King of the Jungle Sam Thompson and presenter and DJ Kemi Rodgers as hosts on I’m A Celebrity Unpacked.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain on Tuesday, Dommett said: “I did the extra show for three years, which I loved. I feel like I learned everything there. And then it stopped for a couple of years, and it feels like the right time to bring it back. And we’re really sort of mixing it up. We’re changing it a lot.
“Obviously, we’ve changed the name, which is great. And we’re going to have Ant and Dec on every day talking through lots of stuff. We’re going to have the campmates coming straight to us for big interviews. We’re just going to really divulge everything about the show, really get into the nitty gritty of everything.”
The spin-off show, axed in 2020, has previously been called The Daily Drop, I’m A Celebrity: Extra Camp, and I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here! Now!
