Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street's Asha Alahan and Kelly Neelan both face the consequences of the recent drugs drama on the cobbles next week.

Viewers saw Kelly (Millie Gibson) have a near-death experience in Friday's hour-long episode, as she collapsed and was rushed to hospital after taking ecstasy.

Doctors later confirmed that Kelly was likely to make a full recovery, but the adults on the Street had some serious questions to ask over how the drugs were brought into the picture in the first place.

Next week, Asha (Tanisha Gorey) is unhappy when her father Dev tries to ban her from seeing Kelly in future.

Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) is convinced that Kelly was behind the recent drugs incident and fears she could be a bad influence on Asha.

Keen to defend her friend, Asha finally admits that she was the one who suggested buying the pills in the first place.

Dev is shocked as Asha opens up over how badly her self-esteem was affected by her split from Nina Lucas.

Asha explains that she wanted the pills as she hoped to forget who she was for a few hours. Will Dev be able to help his daughter?

Meanwhile, after being discharged from hospital, Kelly is taken to the police station to face questioning over the ecstasy pills.

The police are aware that dodgy pills have been circulating in the local area and want to know the source.

Imran Habeeb (Charlie de Melo), who's representing Kelly, warns her that she could be in trouble if she doesn't cooperate with the investigation.

Can Kelly get herself out of this situation without naming Simon Barlow (Alex Bain) as her dealer?

Coronation Street continues on Monday at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
