Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street's Daniel Osbourne threatens to expose the truth about Amy Barlow's drink-spiking incident next week.

Daniel issues a stern warning to Max Turner after discovering that he has crossed the line again with his worrying behaviour.

In upcoming episodes, Daniel initially blames his girlfriend Daisy Midgeley when Nicky Wheatley's past as a sex worker is exposed at Weatherfield High School.

He later discovers that he was wrong to point the finger at Daisy, as Max was the one who looked up Nicky's old stage name and maliciously shared revealing images with the rest of the school.

The incident leads to Mrs Crawshaw suspending Nicky from her position as a teaching assistant.

In a showdown on the street, Daniel confronts Max and accuses him of ruining Nicky's life.

David Platt jumps to Max's defence, but Daniel has had enough and declares that it's about time Amy knew who spiked her drink. Daniel adds that if Max doesn't come clean, he'll tell Amy himself.

Earlier this year, it was revealed that Max had tried to spike Daniel's drink with GHB during a school party. Amy was targeted instead following a mix-up with the drinks.

Later in the week, Max tries to reassure David and Shona that Daniel must be bluffing.

Max points out that Daniel has got too much to lose himself. Daniel has concealed the truth for weeks over this situation, as well as the incident where Max was pushed down the stairs.

At school that day, Amy worries when she spots one of the male students admiring her.

Amy suspects that this boy must have been responsible for spiking her drink, so she throws a cup of coffee over him.
