In next Wednesday's episode, David is alerted to an email from the Weatherfield Prison Services.
He then reaches for a letter that's hidden away in his back pocket, but is stopped in his tracks and covers when Shona suddenly walks in.

Later in the week, David continues to behave shiftily once Shona has gone to bed one evening.

David's surprise move put the Platt family in danger, although amid the confusion over who was responsible, Damon managed to protect the clan by giving his ruthless brother Harvey Gaskell a false story over what happened to the cash.
It's currently unclear whether the prison emails relate to the Damon saga or the upcoming return of Shona's son Clayton Hibbs.
Earlier this week, it was revealed that Callum Harrison has filmed a return stint as Clayton for prison-based scenes.
Clayton has appeared in the ITV soap on and off since 2016, when he killed David's first wife Kylie in a stabbing on the street.
Coronation Street airs David's secretive scenes on Wednesday, November 6 and Friday, November 8 on ITV1 and ITVX.
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
