Yahoo News Coronation Street's David Platt reappears in new prison scenes
Coronation Street's David Platt will return to screens next week as part of Max Turner's new storyline.
Show bosses have revealed that Max will become a cause for concern in upcoming episodes, as he starts behaving badly in David's absence.
New spoilers have now revealed that Shona Ramsey (Julia Goulding) will pay an emotional visit to David in prison, revealing how much the family has been struggling without him.
Shona, who brings Lily along for the visit, pours her heart out to David (Jack P Shepherd) over Max's recent bad behaviour.

David is quick to point out that Max's antics coincided with Kylie's birthday, which was probably the reason for him acting up.
Shona immediately feels terrible as she had no idea about this and feels that she wasn't sympathetic enough at the time.
Returning home, Shona apologises to Max for failing to realise that it was Kylie's birthday.
Shona hopes their troubles are behind them as they share a hug and make amends, but she's unaware that Max still isn't taking his ADHD medication.

As we've previously revealed, Max's new storyline starts tomorrow (August 21) when he smashes up pots in Victoria Gardens and violently lashes out at Nick Tilsley, blaming him for David being in jail.
Max also ruins Lily's birthday party and starts telling lies to Shona about his ADHD medication, pretending to have taken it.
Coronation Street fans know that Max was diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in 2014 after his mum Kylie started noticing a change in his behaviour.
Max was put on medication but Kylie struggled with the situation at the time, even taking some of her son's pills herself as she hit rock bottom.
Coronation Street airs these scenes in an hour-long episode on Monday, August 26 at 7.30pm on ITV.
