Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street's Faye Windass tries to cool things off with Craig Tinker tonight (April 2) as she contemplates her likely prison sentence.
Faye (Ellie Leach) is currently struggling with fears over her future, as she'll soon be sentenced for her attack on Adam Barlow last year.
In Friday's hour-long episode, Faye receives a visit from her on-off boyfriend Craig (Colson Smith).
Craig suggests to Faye that they should have a day out so that she can take her mind off the upcoming court case.
Although Faye would love to go, she makes out to Craig that she's not interested. Craig takes the hint and leaves, clearly upset.
Later on, all becomes clear when Faye visits her brother Gary Windass (Mikey North) in prison.
Faye confides in Gary about how she has started deliberately pushing Craig away for his own good.
As Faye is expecting to be locked up for at least a year, she thinks it'll be better for Craig if he moves on with his life and forgets about her.
Gary has some advice to share with Faye, including his insight on prison life. But how will he feel about her romantic dilemma? Is there still hope for Faye and Craig?
Corrie revealed Faye as the culprit behind Adam's attack at the end of last year. She targeted him in a case of mistaken identity, believing that he was evil Ray Crosby, who'd left her traumatised by sexually assaulting her.
Coronation Street airs tonight at 7.30pm on ITV.
