Coronation Street's Kit Green's real father 'exposed' - and he’s a former killer on the soap
Coronation Street fans are certain that Kit Green’s real father is a past soap villain. Kit (Jacob Roberts) made his cobbles debut earlier this year, as Bernie Winter’s (Jane Hazlegrove) long-lost child. Soap favourite Bernie gave up a Christopher ‘Kit’ Green for adoption almost thirty years ago.
She eventually tracked him down - and at first, he didn’t want anything to do with her. Meanwhile, Bernie’s twins Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) and Paul (Peter Ash) were left stunned to find out they had another brother.
What’s more, Kit also had a part to play in sicko Nathan Curtis (Christopher Harper) getting sent to prison for the then-murder of Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton). Kit planted Lauren’s DNA in paedophile Nathan's van and framed him.

Since then, Kit has become a regular on the cobbles - and has caused plenty of drama. He has also found himself a suspect in the recent ‘Whodunnit’ involving sicko solicitor Joel Deering (Calum Lill).
The bad guy’s body was found found in a local river back in September. However, it was later determined by a pathologist that Joel had died before going into the water. What’s more, it’s fair to say Kit has got plenty of fans suspicious since his arrival as they can’t pinpoint his true intentions.
But in what would be a huge twist, viewers have now ‘worked out’ who Kit’s real father is. On a Reddit thread, fans speculated that Kit could be the secret son of cobbles killer Rob Donovan (Marc Baylis).
Rob's son Bobby (Jack Carroll) also arrived in Weatherfield last year. One fan said: “If Kit were Rob's son, it could've been a great way to start creating an entire web of connections within a six-month to year period.”
The fan then went on to share their lengthy theory, noting how Kit could “bridge a gap between Carla (Alison King), Ryan (Ryan Prescott), Liam (Charlie Wrenshall) and Maria (Samia Longchambon)”.
And it seems other fans agreed, as someone else penned: “Damn… I can totally see this.” A third wrote: “Rob was born in 1979 but you could easily just make him a teen dad instead.” Echoing their thoughts, another commented: “Interesting I could see it.”
