Coronation Street's Leanne consults a psychic for guidance over Oliver

From Digital Spy

Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street's Leanne Battersby turns to a TV psychic for guidance next week as her heartbreaking grief storyline continues.

Leanne (Jane Danson) is struggling to cope after the tragic death of her young son Oliver, who passed away at the end of last year.

In upcoming scenes, Leanne continues to leave her teenage son Simon (Alex Bain) worried as she seems nowhere near close to getting back on track.

Leanne resigns from her job at the solicitor's office as she can't face going back to work, but she lies to her partner Nick Tilsley by making out that Imran Habeeb is leaving the role open for her.

Next week, Leanne seems more upbeat when she shows Simon a feather that she has found.

Leanne believes that the feather is a sign from Oliver and she is reassured by the thought that he's at peace.

Wanting to explore the spiritual side of things more, Leanne uses her bank card to book a consultation with a TV psychic called Crystal Moon.

Crystal reassures Leanne that she's right about the feather and it was a symbol of Oliver's love for her.

Although Crystal's words appear to help Leanne, the premium rate call is an expensive option when she and Simon are currently struggling for cash.

Simon's income from his shifts doing deliveries for the chippy is currently the only one coming into the household.

Despite this, will Leanne make contact with Crystal again?

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Friday, February 12 at 7.30pm on ITV.
