Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street's Leanne Battersby vows to make a fresh start away from Weatherfield next month after Oliver's tragic death.
Viewers have just seen Leanne's world change forever as her son passed away in hospital after his life support was switched off.
In upcoming scenes, Leanne (Jane Danson) is adamant that she still wants to separate from her partner Nick Tilsley.
Leanne's relationship with Nick (Ben Price) hit the rocks this month when they had opposing views on whether to keep fighting for Oliver to stay alive.
Leanne also isn't sure their relationship can survive now that Nick has his son Sam in his life.
In Corrie's 60th anniversary week early next month, Leanne packs up her things at the flat and tells Nick that she's going to stay with her sister Eva Price in France.
Leanne also explains her decision to her sister Toyah (Georgia Taylor), saying that she needs to be far away from the upsetting reminders of Oliver.
Later, Natasha Blakeman (Rachel Leskovac) brings Nick's son Sam to see him. They both apologise for a recent incident where Sam gatecrashed Oliver's memorial at the Victoria Gardens.
Natasha and Sam (Jude Riordan) are shocked as Nick reports that Leanne has left him and will be moving away. Sam immediately decides to intervene, sending a message to Leanne from Nick's phone.
Later, Leanne is taken aback when Sam recites a list of reasons she might grow to like him if she sticks around.
Could this help to sway Leanne?
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday, December 7, Wednesday, December 9 and Friday, December 11 at 7.30pm on ITV.
