Coronation Street actress Lucy Fallon was supported by her co-star as she shared an update on her pregnancy. Lucy, who plays Bethany Platt in the soap, shared pictures of herself on holiday in Rome.

The 28-year-old joined the cast of the ITV show in 2015 and was a mainstay in Weatherfield until she temporarily exited in 2020. Viewers were delighted when Bethany made her eagerly awaited return last year.

Lucy was with fellow Corrie star Charlotte Jordan, who plays Daisy Midgeley in the soap. The pictures showed Lucy wearing a white co-ord while holding her baby bump in the Italian capital, alongside Charlotte, who was wearing a white dress.

Lucy’s partner is Liverpool-born footballer Ryan Ledson, who spent time in Everton’s academy as a youngster. He now plays for Preston North End.

Tina O’Brien, who plays Lucy’s mum Sarah in the soap, was quick to praise her TV co-star. Tina commented on the post: “Oooh Lucy! You look really stunning, you’ve popped since I last saw you. Not even two weeks away from you and I’m itching to catch up.”

Other fans of Lucy shared their appreciation. Barbara Glaysher said: “Looking fabulous Lucy.” Jessica Major said: “Stunning!” Ciara Meehan added: “So gorgeous.”

Lucy and Ryan have a son called Sonny Jude, who is one year old. She has also appeared on reality show Soap Queens. In the first episode of the show, Lucy joked she is still waiting for the midfielder to propose.

She said: "I am not engaged. It's actually become a bit of a running joke now. But I think the more I go on about it, the longer it's going to be. So maybe I just need to stop talking about it and then it will happen. Maybe."
