Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street's Nick Tilsley is banned from spending time with Oliver Battersby next week after his devastating row with Leanne.

Nick (Ben Price) was finally honest with Leanne in Friday night's episodes, telling her that he believed it was time to let Oliver go.

Oliver's parents Leanne (Jane Danson) and Steve (Simon Gregson) have been told that there are no treatment options left for him and that his life support should be switched off.

Both have refused to accept this and will take the hospital to court next week to argue that Oliver deserves a chance to live.

Early next week, Leanne lays down the law with Nick and Tracy (Kate Ford) by insisting that neither of them are welcome at Oliver's hearing.

Steve takes Leanne's side and suggests that it'd make life easier if Tracy stayed away.

Later in the week, while Steve and Leanne are busy with day two of the case, Nick arrives at Oliver's bedside to spend time with him.

Leanne's sister Toyah (Georgia Taylor) tries to intervene, reminding Nick that he isn't supposed to be visiting. However, when Toyah sees how upset Nick is, she relents and agrees to let him stay.
