Coronation Street's Simon Gregson launches new project away from the show
Coronation Street star Simon Gregson has launched a new side project online.
The star took to his Instagram page yesterday (November 5) to reveal he has started a YouTube channel, which will include "various different content".
"So my analogue brain is gonna try and do a YouTube channel with various different content," he told fans.

"Car stuff, life stuff and spooky ghost stuff so check out @simongregorydad on YouTube and I’ll keep making stuff for you to like or fall asleep to. Either way, it could come in useful."
Simon has since premiered his first video, which focuses on his cars and is titled: 'Ongoing headache fix attempt 9'.
The new channel comes after Simon told fans over the weekend he was "full of man-flu" and as a result was not able to take part in the recent London to Brighton veteran car run.

“Car didn't make it, which is fortuitous because neither have I,” he said. “I am full of man-flu. I thought I could make it, [but] I couldn't so I'm tucked up in a very nice hotel where I am going to sleep and hopefully be alright.
“Thanks to the British Motorist Museum for lending us the car, hopefully [we] go again next year. Thanks to everyone who waved to all the wonderful people in their wonderful driving machines. What an amazing event.”
He subsequently received support from co-stars including Claire Sweeney and Angela Lonsdale.
Meanwhile, back in September Simon revealed he would be releasing a children's book called The Dream Dragon.
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
