Coronation Street's Stu to be called out for pressuring Yasmeen
Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street's Stu Carpenter will be called out for pressuring Yasmeen Nazir in upcoming scenes.
Yasmeen has recently grown concerned by her partner Stu taking on troubled teen Mason Radcliffe as a protégé following the boy's release from youth detention for bullying Liam Connor.
The disagreement is set to escalate in upcoming scenes when a brick is thrown through Yasmeen and Stu's front window, shortly after Stu confronts Mason's abusive older brother Logan.
In scenes airing next week, Eileen confronts Stu and Yasmeen in Roy's Rolls to make it known that she disapproves of them hiring Mason.
Eileen knows the way Mason manipulated and threatened Dylan Wilson in the past, so she's not happy to see him given a second chance.

Stu goes to bat defending Mason, yet there are later hints that Mason is hiding something when a hoodie falls out of his backpack. Mason quickly stuffs the hoodie back in to make sure nobody notices.
Later scenes will have Eileen in a frank discussion with Yasmeen where she encourages her not to let Stu bully her into keeping Mason around.
These scenes will air on Wednesday, October 9.

This new storyline will reference Yasmeen's past relationship with evil ex-husband Geoff Metcalf, who used coercive control tactics to torment her during their marriage.
Viewers know that Stu doesn't have the same type of evil intentions for Yasmeen, yet his insistence on mentoring Mason could drive a wedge in the couple's relationship.
While the exact details have yet to be confirmed, cast member Bill Fellows is set to leave Coronation Street later this year — and has already received a touching goodbye gift from the cast.
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
