Coronation Street's Tim Metcalfe is shocked to hear that Geoff tried to visit Yasmeen

Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street's Tim Metcalfe receives yet another warning over Geoff's behaviour next week.

Tim (Joe Duttine) is currently standing by his evil father, despite the recent revelations over his mistreatment of Yasmeen when they were together.

Next week's episodes see tensions grow between Tim and his wife Sally (Sally Dynevor) over their opposing views on the situation.

Tim still doesn't believe that Geoff (Ian Bartholomew) has done anything wrong, while Sally is convinced that her father-in-law is an abuser.

Tim's first chance to see Geoff's true colours comes early next week, when he walks in on his father rowing with Sally and turning nasty.

Later in the week, he's left with food for thought once again when Sally shares the latest update on what Geoff has been up to behind everyone's backs.

Alya (Sair Khan) lets Sally know that Geoff has made an attempt to see Yasmeen (Shelley King) in prison, applying for a visiting order online.

Alya sees this as yet more proof that Geoff wants to get back inside Yasmeen's head and regain control over her.

When Sally shares this news with Tim, he's shocked and confused that Geoff would want to see Yasmeen after everything that happened between them.

Sally points out Geoff's possible sly motive for wanting to speak to Yasmeen. But having ignored previous warnings about Geoff from the likes of Eileen Grimshaw, will Tim be prepared to listen?

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Friday, July 10 at 7.30pm on ITV.
