Coronation Street's Yasmeen Metcalfe hears worrying details over Geoff's past

Coronation Street spoilers follow.

Coronation Street's Yasmeen Metcalfe continues to question her future with her abusive husband Geoff tonight (April 8).

Yasmeen (Shelley King) has struggled to forgive Geoff since looking through his laptop and discovering that he was contacting escorts behind her back. She has also caught him out for lying over their plans for a trip to Spain, realising that he never planned on going.

In Wednesday's episode, Yasmeen heads out of the house without telling Geoff in order to attend a meeting with the police.

Yasmeen has decided to use Clare's Law, which gives any member of the public the right to ask the police if their partner may pose a risk to them.

Yasmeen meets the police at the community centre, wanting to know the full story over the time that Geoff was arrested for affray.

Geoff landed himself in trouble after an altercation with a previous partner, although he has already tried to play down the incident in conversations with Yasmeen.

Unsurprisingly, when the police give Yasmeen the information that she's looking for, it differs from the way that manipulative Geoff had described it.

How much danger is Yasmeen in? Will she return home to Geoff after seeing the police?

Coronation Street airs tonight at 7.30pm on ITV.
