Yahoo News Schoolboy 'suspended for selling hand sanitiser at 50p a squeeze'
A teenage schoolboy has reportedly been suspended after he was caught selling squirts of what he claimed was hand sanitiser to fellow pupils for 50p.
Oliver Cooper, 13, picked up the £1.60 tub of Johnson's child hand wash from a Tesco store as he waited for the school bus and offered a squirt to his mates, who suggested he could charge people to use the cleansing product during the coronavirus pandemic.

But after earning £9 from his endeavours, the youngster reportedly fell foul of staff at Leeds Unity Academy in Leeds, West Yorkshire, when he offered some gel to a teacher.
Oliver’s mother Jenny Tompkins claims her son was then sent home from school for the day for breaching rules.
In a Facebook post, Jenny wrote: "Why is he [Oliver] getting in from school at 10:53am you ask? Schools don't finish until 3pm.
"Well the little t**d has just been expelled from school for the day after been caught charging students 50p a squirt for hand sanitiser to protect themselfs from the b****y corona virus!! (sic)”
She later edited the post to add: “For those asking, he made £9! He bought a multipack of Doritos and saving the rest to buy a kebab later xXx”
Oliver said he had been listening to the news on his phone and their concerns about coronavirus when he decided to buy the hand wash.
He now faces a day in isolation followed by a two-hour detention.

Mother-of-seven Jenny said: ”I don't think it's an excludable offence.”
A spokesperson from Leeds Unity Academy told Yahoo News UK that they do not comment on individual cases but added: "No student has ever been excluded from Dixons Unity Academy for selling hand sanitiser.”
