• A report about a ceremony honouring Xavier Jugelé, the police officer killed in Paris last week, quoted his partner Etienne Cardiles as saying: “I suffer without shame, you will not have my hatred.” In fact Cardiles said “I suffer without hatred” and went on to quote the phrase “You will not have my hatred”, which was used by Antoine Leiris after his wife Hélène Muyal was killed in the Bataclan attack in 2015 (Politics put aside as France pays tribute to policeman shot dead on Champs Élysées, 26 April, page 17).

• The Whitney Houston documentary that has been officially authorised by her estate is to be directed by Kevin Macdonald; it is not being produced by the makers of the Oscar-winning film about Amy Winehouse as we suggested in an interview with Nick Broomfield about his own film on Houston (‘She had very little control over her life’, 26 April, page 16, G2).
