Corrections and clarifications

• In the BBC show Anton and Giovanni’s Adventures in Sicily, the presenters take part in the Feast of the Assumption in Syracuse, not Sciacca (A friendship so irresistible it might bring a tear to your eye, 22 March, G2, p10).

• The TV adaptation of Paul Scott’s novel The Jewel in the Crown was first broadcast in 1984, not in 1981 as we said in an interview with the actor Charles Dance (‘I’m perhaps not as choosy as I could have been’, 27 March, G2, p6).
