• In an article about the butch scene, the writer’s own observation about growing up in Cumbria, and how butch lesbians were perceived, was wrongly presented as a quote from Tabs Benjamin, founder of the Butch, Please! club night (‘We’re caring, joyful, sexy …’, 8 March, G2, p4).
