• An article about MPs winning the right to introduce a bill that would decriminalise abortion for the first time said the 1967 Abortion Act “allows abortion before 12 weeks with the approval of two doctors and in the interests of the woman’s health”. The time period is 24 weeks (New bill to challenge UK’s Victorian-era abortion law, 14 March, page 4).

• The caption to a picture on pages 6 and 7 of last Friday’s paper said it showed Theresa May on Wednesday leaving “the unveiling of a memorial to soldiers who fell in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan”. As a report on the previous spread said (Bitterness over Blair’s presence at unveiling of memorial, 10 March, page 4), the memorial is to all British military personnel and civilians who served in the Gulf war, the Afghanistan war and the Iraq war between 1990 and 2015.

• Because of an editing error, a feature about UK rappers outside London (Straight outta Paisley, 10 March, page 14, G2) said Shogun was “from Paisley in Glasgow”. He is from Paisley, which is in Renfrewshire, just outside Glasgow.
