Yahoo News Corrie airs Nicola's return as Phelan blackmails Gary
Coronation Street airs Nicola Rubinstein's return scenes next week, as Pat Phelan manages to track her down.
Nicola (Nicola Thorp) said her "final" farewells to the Street last week as she could no longer bear to be around her villainous father, but she hasn't left the show and there's still lots more to come involving her character.
Next week, Phelan (Connor McIntyre) celebrates after managing to uncover Nicola's whereabouts, with help from a private investigator.
After creepily watching Nicola let herself into her house, Phelan gets tough with Gary (Mikey North) by instructing him to make contact and lure her back into their lives.
Phelan encourages Gary to tell Nicola that he wants to be part of their baby's life, even though this isn't actually true.
Gary tries to refuse, but finds himself backed into a corner when Phelan threatens to tell Sarah Platt about his infidelity if he doesn't co-operate.
Later in the week, Gary reports back to Phelan by telling him that he kept his side of the bargain and spoke to Nicola, but she wants nothing more to do with him.
Never one to be fobbed off too easily, Phelan orders Gary to try harder – or else. With history starting to repeat itself, will Gary allow Phelan to keep blackmailing him?
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
