Yahoo News Corrie's Aidan dumps Eva after latest revenge twist
Coronation Street's Aidan Connor has dumped Eva Price after discovering the full details of her big revenge plan.
The troubled couple had vowed to somehow make things work earlier this week, despite their wedding day disaster which saw Eva's baby lies exposed in the middle of the ceremony.
Just when it seemed like the pair would be able to put all the lying and cheating behind them, Friday night's episodes saw Aidan hear the bad news about the factory being burgled.
As well as Underworld being stripped of all its contents, the company bank account had been completely cleared and it didn't take a genius to figure out that Eva was involved.
Sickened that Eva would destroy his family business – and put her own friends out of work – Aidan ended their relationship and made it clear there'd be no going back.
Eva hatched the shocking factory plan with Adam Barlow weeks ago, but she'd unsuccessfully tried to halt it at the last minute when Aidan confessed to his affair with Maria Connor on their wedding day.
When Eva confronted Adam and demanded answers, she was sickened as he tried to give her half the cash from the scam – telling him to keep his filthy money.
She also warned that she'll take Adam down with her if she gets caught out by the police, leaving him devastated.
The drama also quickly took its toll on Aidan's dad Johnny, who was left to face the very real possibility that he'd have to give up on the factory forever. Is it the end of Underworld?
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
