Yahoo News Corrie's Aidan and Eva make peace, but for how long?
Coronation Street has left fans wondering whether Aidan Connor and Eva Price could stay together after all – but more drama ahead in Friday night's double bill may still destroy their relationship.
Corrie aired two more unmissable episodes on Wednesday night (September 20) as Eva faced an angry backlash over her fake pregnancy scam, which left Aidan furious and reluctant to forgive her.
Blaming Maria Connor for her woes, Eva made her love rival pay in epic style by angrily attacking her at the venue – leading to a massive catfight in a fountain.
Next on Eva's agenda was proving her love to Aidan, which meant climbing out of the bridal suite's window in a desperate attempt to shout her feelings from the rooftops. Literally.
Sadly, Eva really didn't think this one through – much like that ill-fated revenge plan. As a result, she almost fell to her death, until Aidan came to her rescue by helping her out of her dress and back through the window.
Realising how close he came to losing Eva, a torn Aidan began to soften towards her and suggested that they could still give their relationship another try. Who'd have thought it?
Back on the Street, however, the next big Connor family drama was already afoot, as Jenny and Johnny returned to the factory after getting married at Rita Tanner's hospital bedside.
Thanks to Eva and Adam's scheming, the newlyweds were horrified to find that the place had been stripped bare – with even the roof gone.
Love rat Aidan may be in a forgiving mood right now, but how will he feel when he finds out what Eva has set in motion? Are they still about to split up?
And how will Eva react when she realises that Adam couldn't stop their plans from going ahead?
Coronation Street continues on Friday (September 22) at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
