Yahoo News Corrie's Colson Smith hints at romance with Bethany
Coronation Street's Colson Smith has hinted at a potential romance between Craig Tinker and Bethany Platt – and we're more than on board with the idea.
Following Bethany's horrific abuse ordeal, Craig has always been there to offer support, and even secure Neil Clifton's confession on tape.
But although Craig's future with the police looks uncertain, Colson Smith has suggested that a happy ending for him and Bethany could be on the horizon.
Chatting to What's on TV, Craig said he thought it would be "interesting" to see his character and Bethany become an item.
"Obviously, she has been through a lot, and I believe Craig will be there as a friend – get her back onto the track of enjoying her life and being a teenager.

"If romance happens, it happens. But it'd be nice to have more scenes with Lucy Fallon [Bethany]."
While Lucy Fallon recently put any rumours of a blossoming romance on ice, saying Bethany has a "really long process" ahead, producer Kate Oates let Craig's true feelings slip.
"I think Craig is going to help her and they've got a good friendship, but I don't know what's coming," Lucy said, before Kate chipped in: "He adores her!"
