Yahoo News Corrie's Kym Marsh reveals shock selfie request
Coronation Street star Kym Marsh has revealed the shock place she was asked for a selfie from a fan.
In her latest column for OK! magazine, she responded to the recent incident that saw her Corrie co-star Georgia Taylor branded "rude" by a fan for not wanting to take a selfie in the doctor's surgery, recalling that she's had an even worse location for a selfie request.
"I was at a friend's funeral not long ago and I was asked for a selfie during the wake! I didn't even have a moment to say no as the person had jumped in and snapped the picture before I'd even got over the shock of how inappropriate it was!" Marsh explained.
"I've also been at the hospital with Polly and caught someone filming me from the next cubicle. It was totally weird and I asked them to stop!"
Last month, Marsh opened up about having a brain scan after suffering from dizzy spells and balance issues since January, adding that doctors "can't say for sure what it is".
"I was anxious when I was told I had to have a brain scan; I did worry that it might be something more sinister," she said.
"The good thing is that there were no tumours or signs of multiple sclerosis."
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
