Yahoo News Corrie's Tracy Barlow faces attempted murder charge
This is the moment when Coronation Street's Tracy Barlow appears in court accused of attempted murder – but is she really guilty of pushing her own dad Ken down the stairs?
Tracy (Kate Ford) is in the dock during tonight's (May 8) episodes. Last week, Corrie viewers saw her dramatically take the blame for the recent attack on her father as she desperately tries to protect her daughter Amy, suspecting that the troublesome teenager is the real culprit.
Tracy's confession aired in Friday night's tense Coronation Street double bill, after she'd spent a week hiding out in the Peak District with her ex-lover Rob Donovan.
But after Tracy left her daughter in Rob's care as she handed herself into the police, Amy's grandmother Liz McDonald (Beverley Callard) turns up at court – and she's absolutely furious that Tracy has placed Amy at risk (in case you'd forgotten, Rob is on the run from jail).
So, will Tracy go through with her plan to confess to attempted murder – or will she have a change of heart?
As for who actually attacked Ken? Well, it's still a bit of a mystery at the moment, despite Tracy's suspicions. We've put on our finest deerstalkers and made a list of who we think could be responsible right here.
